Learn to make herbal medicines from summer plants of the PNW! This class is part lecture, part hands-on workshop.
This is an introductory class exploring medicines that can be made with plants that are available to harvest during the months of summer. Students will gain a general understanding of different medical practices and how to engage safely and effectively in making herbal medicines. Then we’ll look at some specific plants, taste some pre-made medicinal sodas and make a variety of infusions together to take home! This class comes with a written handout.
